I am Niklas Oberhofer, a passionate chef and entrepreneur. Currently I work as head chef of "epoca by Tristan Brandt" at the 5-star Superior Wellness Resort Waldhaus Flims in Switzerland. I received my first MICHELIN star in 2022 and 17 points from Gault&Millau Switzerland in 2023.
My culinary journey after training as a chef began as Commis de Cuisine at the Hotel Bareiss Baiersbronn and then at the 2-star restaurant Geisels Werneckhof in Munich. I then worked as Chef de Partie at the Hotel Villino Lindau, which was awarded one star in the Guide MICHELIN.
For me, art and cuisine belong inseparably together. As co-organizer of the Festival of Arts by Waldhaus Flims, I love not only art on the plate, but also art on the canvas or for the ears: EAT ART.
Together with my partners, at the epoca or privately, I regularly cook dishes that you can easily recreate and should, too! This time a delicious composition of shrimp tartare, Asian vinaigrette and wild herb salad.

Fine cuisine and champagne
From October 14 to 22, 2023, together with Tristan Brandt, namesake and patron of my restaurant "epoca by Tristan Brandt", I will provide top-class culinary delights on the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, the Champagner Club presents a variety of excellent champagnes.
